Giving back is something that we take pride in at Hometown Contractors. For more than 20 years, our family-owned business has striven to do our best in all things, whether we are replacing a shower, installing new windows, or doing our part to serve our local community. To that end, we are honored to have participated in this year’s Annual Emerald Coast Veterans Alliance Charity Golf Tournament.

At Hometown Contractors, we celebrated Veterans Day by spending by attending this inspiring event. Our participants donned our R.E.D.—Remember Everyone Deployed—shirts to commemorate all the armed servicemen and women who have served our county.

More About the Emerald Coast Veteran's Alliance

The Emerald Coast Veteran's Alliance was formed as a nonprofit organization that provides resources to veterans in need throughout Northwest Florida. As of 2023, the organization has raised over $75,000. Each November, they host an annual golf tournament to help raise funds to ensure that none of their local veterans are left behind.

This is just one of the many community service events that we proudly participate in at Hometown Contractors. If you’d like to learn more about our community involvement or if we’d be interested in participating in a local event, contact us today!

Hometown Contractors Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month

During the month of October, Hometown Contractors, Inc. have been proudly wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. Breast Cancer as affects an estimated one in eight women and many of our staff has had or has known someone affected by this disease. Therefore, we held a donation drive to give employees the opportunity to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.. This organization is committed to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. Early detection is so critical because, although there is no cure, if the disease is found in the early stages and localized (there is no sign the cancer has spread outside of the breast) the 5-year survival rate is 99%. We are thrilled that our employees have come together, and we were able to donate nearly $200 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation!

Remember. Everyone. Deployed. - Our Florida Panhandle Contractors Wear Red Shirts Every Friday to Honor Those Overseas

Our local and family-owned company has immense respect for the retired and active-duty service men and women that protect and defend our country. These brave individuals put their lives on the line to safeguard our freedom and lifestyles back home in civilian life. To show our appreciation, Hometown Contractors, Inc. employees wear R.E.D. shirts every single Friday. These shirts, which stand for "Remember. Everyone. Deployed.", signify our admiration for the military troops that are currently deployed and let them know that they are all in our hearts. We will continue to wear these shirts until they all come home.

To further show our gratitude, Hometown Contractors, Inc. offers 5% off a range of new home remodeling projects for single family homes in the Florida Panhandle to all military personnel.
