We recently hired Hometown Contractors to install new seamless gutters on our house, and the entire experience from start to finish was outstanding, thanks in large part to Matt K.
Matt came out to handle our initial assessment and project walkthrough. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to map out exactly how the new system would handle water runoff to protect our foundation. He gave us a straightforward, transparent proposal without any of the exhausting, high-pressure sales tactics you usually expect from contractors.
The installation crew arrived on schedule, worked efficiently, and left the property spotless. The gutters look sharp, blend perfectly with the house, and have already handled heavy downpours flawlessly. If you are looking to get exterior work or gutter setups done right, I highly recommend checking out Hometown Contractors and asking for Matt K!

The recent hurricane left it's mark on our home. We knew from previous purchase and installation of our French doors not to waste time with any other companies. We called and felt great relief from overwhelming chaos from the storm immediately. I cannot say enough about the pride in professionalism balanced with Good Neighbor Hometown presents from answering my call to purchasing a new and secure entry door. Arinton Mercado again guided us through the process and selection with consideration of our finances and expectations with extensive knowledge and patience. It is a relief to have such well-earned confidence in a local company that never disappoints us or friends and family that we referred to them. Excellent and varied financing options are clearly explained and quickly processed. We are grateful to Hometown Contractors for relieving a big stressor from our long list of repairs!

Chad Baxter came to our home regarding an estimate on siding repair (Damage from the hurricane). Not only did he provide us with all the information needed to make a decision, he gave us tips on other areas that will need to be addressed. We did sign a contract while he was still here but he made sure to tell us we were under no obligation to make an immediate decision. This was the same "family business" treatment we got when Hometown did our bathroom remodel!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jerry Scarborough and Hometown Contractors!

I was looking to have my mom’s bathtub converted into a walk-in shower to better accommodate her needs and time was of the essence. From the moment I met Jerry, I was incredibly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, kindness, and genuine concern for my mom’s well-being.

Jerry immediately understood the urgency of our situation and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. What I initially thought would be a very expensive project turned out to be surprisingly reasonable, thanks to Jerry’s efforts to make sure we received the best possible pricing.

What impressed me most was his honesty and integrity. At no point did I feel pressured, taken advantage of, or sold something we didn’t need. In fact, I felt so comfortable and confident in Jerry that I didn’t even bother getting another estimate! That says a lot, especially these days.

It’s also refreshing to see a company that genuinely seems to care about its customers, particularly our veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. It’s clear that Hometown Contractors understands that projects like these aren’t simply home improvements, but can make a tremendous difference in someone’s safety, comfort, and quality of life.

I am truly grateful to Jerry for his compassion, patience, and willingness to work with us during a time when I needed to get things taken care of quickly for my mom.

If you’re considering any home improvements, I would wholeheartedly recommend asking for Jerry Scarborough at Hometown Contractors. He’s a wonderful example of what exceptional customer service should be and I couldn’t be more appreciative!
